¿Ariscos? para nada

Unfriendly? Not at all.

How many people have you heard say that cats “don't care,” “don't pay attention to you,” or “only come near you if they want food”? Probably more than you'd like. It's one of those myths that's been around for centuries, as if cats were cold, insensitive beings who systematically ignore you.

Spoiler: it's not like that .

Each one at his own pace

Cats aren't exactly known for running up to greet you or waving their tails wildly. They're more inclined to appear when they feel like it, observe from a distance, and approach calmly. But be careful: when they do it, it's because they really mean it.
Nothing is forced. And that makes it even more special.

Affection is not always seen

A cat isn't going to lick your face or jump into your arms like a dog. But if it sits next to you while you're working, if it follows you around the house, if it stares at you for a while and blinks slowly... it's telling you much more than it seems.

Cats have their own language. One that not everyone understands, but one that those of us who live with them learn to read.

What if the problem is that we don't know how to look?

People often expect a cat to behave "like a calm dog" or "like a loving child." But cats aren't that. They're something else.
They are more subtle, more independent, more observant.
And they need trust. If they have it, they'll give you everything (in their own way).

They are not unfriendly. They are selective .
And if you are the chosen one, believe me, it is a privilege.
